Out for a walk on Friday, finally had a chance to use my new polarizer filter that I got for Christmas (that's the reality of living on the wet coast!).
"New polariser", now that sounds GOOD! I don't see the effect so much here, though, which is why I - if this were my pic - would have said bye-bye to most of the sky, lovely as it may be, and cropped the photo so the horizon moves way up (and out of the middle line that divides the photo in halves). I was also contemplating saying bye-bye to the fence instead, but I do like the additional element it offers along with the farm buildings in the distance (and that snow-covered mountain in the far distance, and THAT shows a lot better when there is less sky to be seen, I find!).
