Hi there! I'm new to this forum and to DSLR's. I recently purchased a Canon Rebel T6s and it should arrive next week. I'm looking forward to figuring it out when it gets here. I've always loved taking pictures and am looking forward to the quality pictures this camera will (hopefully!) provide. I am very open to any tips you all may have for me!

A little about me... I live in New England, as I have my whole life. Someday, I hope to move to Colorado though. I love to hike with my dog, ride my horse and run. I am currently training my 1 year old rescue dog as a pet therapy dog. I imagine many of my photos will be of my dog and/or my horse!

I'm interested in getting the most out of my camera so please feel free to chime in with which lenses and settings I should be using.
