hello everyone
My name is Mitchell. I first started my journey in photography began in 1988 I took photography as freshman in high school. I loved it so I took photography all 4 years. Life kind of happened and although I have always had a point and shoot and love to take pictures. I have really gotten back into it over the last week and realized why I love it. Picked my first dslr, man how cameras have changed.

Welcome! I took a class my freshman year in HS also, but unfortunately, I treated it just as an elective and didn't get anything from it. One of my many regrets in life...

Welcome to TPF, Mitchell! I think it's great that you have had classes with an instructor you really liked. It matters a lot in our perspective of the hobby, even long down the road, as you're finding out.
