Help choosing between Panasonix Lumix DMC-LX7 and Nikon V1

I'm looking for a new point and shoot when I don't have my DSLR available and was looking at these two cameras I don't want to spend more than $350. I hear the LX7 is very similar to a Leica camera, and the Nikon V1 seems to have gotten some very good reviews and I can get it cheaper. Does anyone own either of these or has done a comparison that can help me decide? I didn't find any good comparison articles online when I searched. I would be open to alternatives if there is a really good one I'm missing. Thanks.
