My B+W KSM CPL made it all the way through the laundry...dryer and all. Glass is unharmed but the glass was messy .... so I tried Palmolive...lol, almost as good as new!

I have basket by my machine that is full of at least a dozen USB flash drives that got washed.

I blame technology for getting so small, never happened with floppy disks!

You're not supposed to use the washing machine. That can leave spots. Use the dishwasher and don't forget to add rinse agent. ;-)

When I am on location, I go guerrilla style, combat ready. Camera, card, battery, filter and carry the filter, extra batt and card in my cargo pockets.....I forgot

Tell you I was sweating it trying to get it clean.

For filters, I only have 2 CPLs that I keep in a 4 'slot' soft case attached to my belt. Hopefully, they'll never make the trip to the washing machine. But if I feel the need to really give mine a wash, I'll remember to use the dishwasher rather than the wash machine.
