HELP - Flashpoint 620 Monolight Question (Triggers)

Hey everyone. I just picked up a used Flashpoint 620 monolight and I have a question about it. I have some hot shoe remote triggers for my flash units ... but it doesn't look like those will work with this Flashpoint unit.

I see that it has a large port for something that's labeled "sync" but I honestly don;t know what goes into that slot.

What sort of trigger goes in there?

Also ... can anyone suggest a trigger system that would allow me to control the monolight unit and two additional hot shoe flash units? The less expensive the better.

I'm excited to use the Flashpoint unit but dread having to by a whole new triggering system because it's not hot shoe compatible.

I think I may have found an answer (for those who may have the same issue).

A hot shoe to PC adapter should do the trick. And they are pretty cheap.

But not wireless. The PC connector design is not real reliable either, and are to easy to bend out of shape causing poor contact and electrical continuity.

I have wireless triggers already that I can then connect to the adapter.

Do these triggers do something different?
