Help improvement needed!!!

Hi, I am sort of new to the site. I been posting things and getting better for the most part of this year trying to improve, however, I stopped a few months ago because I had some stuff happen in my family to put photography aside for a little while. During that while I have purchased books about photography and been trying to improve. Here are some of my favorite images that I have taken since I picked my camera back up. Please feel free to comment and help me fix the problems that I need to solve. Thank you in advance for looking and hopefully posting feedback on my pictures.

watch your composition and what's in the frame.

i like #1. the dof is nice to me. but it's distracting that the top of her head is cut off. not sure how long her hair is, but the way it frames her face, draws my eys to it, and then it's cut off. backing out a little on that one, to get the top of the head and the tips of the front hair, would have framed the face better, instead of distracting me away from it at the top and bottom. other than that, its a nice photo.

#2. same thing, that small bit of hair on her chest, it frames her face, but then its cut off, so it immediatley pulls my eyes to it. maybe because i am looking for flaws. not sure. but its the first thing i noticed. next thing i noticed is that dark shape in the top right corner. assumabley a tree branch or trunk? it blends so well with her arm, that appears to be her arm. but looks funny because it seems like she is leaning and flotaing in air and has her arm coked at some funny angle. when i stare at it, i can gather that she has her hand on a tree and is leaning/hanging off of it. and its a nice picture otherwise. i like the focus and the dof. the problem is that the first things my eyes are drawn to is the hair clip and the tree.

Here is a reedited image that I showed. Is this better? Also, is there anything else that I can do to the image to make it better please tell me. Any and all feedback is appreciated.

For the first one, I agree with the previous poster about a part of the head and hair being cut off.

The second one... I'm not sure what it is, but somehow the positioning bugs me. The eye is *almost* dead on center, but it looks a little bit off. I can't put my finger on what exactly it is, but I don't like her position in the frame. It feels to me like about 1/3 of the picture is missing. Other than that, I think it looks cute.

Thank you guys for your feedback. I was just trying to fill her face in the frame and catch her expressions that I did not even think about the crop and how I cut her hair off. Here is an image that I personally adore, however, is there anything that I can do or could have done in the next image to make it better?
