Help me spend my money

this isn't a validation thread. As I want both and will have both. Debating between buying a nikkor 105mm micro and a Leica c point and shoot. The question isn't about which I should buy, but what should I buy first? I don't get paid to shoot so keep that in mind. I love macro, but I also love having a camera when I need it every time. Ready? Go!

Just monopoly play money. My d7100 and 17-55 doesn't fit in my pocket well. I can get the strap in, and that's about it. I party a lot, at my home and everywhere else. If I bring my dslr with me, I may end up losing it.

Depending on what "partying" means for you it might be as best to get a dirt cheap wallet/pocket camera rather than something expensive. Though I can certainly sympathise that at social events/gatherings/trips a DSLR tends to be just too big and too dominating (and half the time you end up not using it anyway)

Why would you use a 105micro as a partying lens?

I heard cell phones are just as good as DSLRs and can fit in your pocket too
And if you misplace it, you can call it and listen for the ring.

I'd go for a new Fuji X of one model or another....but that's just me. Ehhh...Leica C....sure, why not!

But, with the Leica T, you already have an ideal camera for social events, do you not ?

I'd get the macro lens first.
