What's new

HELP ME!!! :)

I do a lot of senior pictures, weddings, engagement, family, fashion photography etc...
If you're doing all of that, you should know enough about photography to choose a camera with one arm tied behind your back. ;)

I have 2 lenses for my current canon, a Tamron Af Tele-macro 100-300 and a Tamron Af 28-105....

I had considered seeing if these would fit onto a new canon dslr body but was also considering selling the camera to put towards the new... however I'm not sure how much it will be able to sell for... another idea I have been "toying" with..

Since you are going for a cropped body, only thing you will miss is a wide lens. Your 28mm will in fact act like a 45-170. This is easily covered with the standard kit lens.
Regarding selling or not what you have, apart focal length a useful information could be max aperture. It makes sense only if you are able to substitute with something better from some point of view. As far as I know, there exist a Tamron 28-105 2.8 that would be interesting and difficult to substitute in a budget. A reasonable couple of Canon lenses are 18-55IS and 55-250IS, but I suspect that +t1i is out of your budget.

I found my camera (Canon Rebel XS) at around $ 450, then i add all the little add on's like a bag card and stuff it came out close to $700
