i have a problem with my g12 screen. vibrating lines appear on it, and they are not always the same - they can be more or less, and not on the same place of the screen. the lines appear in the shooting mode and in the playback mode also. the photos come out ok when i download them on the computer. only a few of them are not ok - i couldn't open the files on the computer (when i was viewing them on the camera, it said "image undefined") or the jpeg image was partially ok and partially green or with green lines. i didn't drop or hit the camera, but i had the camera on the beach with me and the weather was hot (though i didn't take pictures until late in the evening and i was keeping the camera in a case all day).
could anybody tell me what the problem is and how serious is it? what could cause the damage?
is it the hinge or something else? do i have to change some parts of the camera?
