HELP: What would cause these shadows?

Yeah, honestly if you looked at her wedding portfolio and still hired her, I'd say part of the blame falls upon you. She really is quite terrible behind a camera, not to mention behind a computer with photoshop. Judging by the $120 price tag on her "belly bump" photos (or whatever), you paid far too much.

Since you have provided a link to her web site, everyone that clicks on the link will provide her a pointer directly back to this thread if she follows her web site stats.

Most photographers I know do.

I use Google Analytics myself.

Wow, I would just like to say sorry. I am doing a wedding in a week and I would NEVER send anything like this to a client. You can really tell that they are unprofessional mainly because of the photo quality, but they also should admit that they did a bad job. I wish you luck in getting a refund!

This really sucks. I am not as experienced and 1/2 of the people on here, even I could pull off better images with my Nikon P&S. The photos on her website are nothing that really stick out (in a good way). I am usually not one to bash anyone, but after reading this thread, it angers me.

There is some bad editing in there, some not horrible pics, and some pretty bad...

She should offer some sort of refund, even though that will never give you good wedding pics. I sent her a message on her photography facebook page... to let her know, nicely how one feels.

I liked it lol(the post not the pics)... heck i could do better. Im still not up to par but hey uncle fred can do the same as her.

You want "oh god!!!"???? Go to her Beautiful Bellies and Bundles of Joy Gallery on her website... and then the 7th and 9th pictures in are "oh god!!!" pictures.

At least that's what I shouted when I saw them.
