Help with calibration? Example shown

Today I learned more about RAW and exposing in Lightroom PP. I put my camera in RAW mode, shot away and start processing. I use 2 monitors, both of the same model but one is about 8 months older. On the left (older monitor) I have the image zoomed in on 1:1 aspect while on the right monitor (new one) I am looking at the full screen image. It is on the newer monitor that I am basing my decisions on.

So, I get this image where I think it looks great (please give critique if you have it - I'm a total noob!) and switch my older monitor back to full screen view mode. I noticed after that the picture on the older monitor looks slightly blown out and loses detail, especially on the swirls in Santa's beard.

So... I guess I should calibrate my monitors? Which one do I use to process on until I can do that?

Pretty much normal... your camera is working well. But it sounds like your monitors are maladjusted!

Guess i will buy a calibration device!

Any critique on the PP? My first real attempt at raw PP and wondering how it is.
