Help with IDing bird

This bird started hanging around a few weeks ago, it's been hell getting a shot of it out in the open because it flies into the trees whenever I step outside and the shot's terrible I know. I'd place the tree at about 100-150' away, across the river with no way of getting closer.

The shenanigans with acorns they engage in are amusing.
