Help with my speedlight

I have a Canon 30D and a Nikon flash, it fires BUT it leaves a black strip at the bottom of my pictures. I've changes lenses thinking it was a shadow but it's not. Help!

Your shutter speed is too fast and isn't syncing.


You really should be using a Canon speedlight.
