Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Hi everybody, Iam new here and I would like if somebody can help me to solve and issue with Nik HDR software.
I just took three bracket photos with canon camera for hdr conversion. (the first three pics are in the following gallery)
HDR TEST - ormabe's Photos | SmugMug

I tested photomatix and nik hdr as default and without touching any other features such , noise reduction, contrast....

Then I saved them and Nik have a very odd result. So I am not sure if it is something wrong with Nik software or something else
Firts pic is Nik result

I will appreciate if somebody can help me to figure out which is the problem.

That is weird. I did the same thing and got the same results. Maybe that is why I like photomatix more than nik

Thanks nos33 to give a try, So now I know that it is not only my problem, I still waiting for nik email support

Exposure I think is the problem. Photomatix pickup it automatically while in nik some times it requires to do it manually.

I went outside and took another sample and I just finished it in nik and it looks much better (without retouch sliders) because it automatically detected the exposure values

It's a Normal thing for Nik
In Nik the default setting applies No Compression, where the default setting for Photomatix Applies Compression

When I loaded the images into photomatix, it asked for me to set the exposure values. I agree that it is probably the exposure settings or there are too many gaps in the full range for the software to make up.
