We have our fourth of July parade a week early before everyone else and we call it Not Quite Independence Day, it's just been a tradition for many years but as of late and new people who took over the event planning it just ain't the same anymore. It used to draw some of the biggest crowds in Vermont, it would be jammed pack shoulder to shoulder when growing up here and now its over in like 10 minutes where before it would an hour and there would be extensive floats and giveaways. It was a great time but its been getting less and less as time goes on. I still try my best to photograph it but I am losing interest in doing so but sometimes you never know, you might capture a really good photo, even if its just ONE.
Anyways, I took these with my Nikon D750 and a 50 1.8. Kinda wish I had a wider angle lens but I the 50mm is the only auto focus lens I have right now.
I've always struggled photographing parades, I find them the most challenging subjects to photograph.
