HELP =(

I am trying to remove a polarized filter off of a 28-135mm lens but it only spins, my guess is that is has slipped beyond the threads. anyone have any suggestions for removing this, there is some lint on the lens itself that needs to be removed.

I use a small rubber strap wrench on mine when that happens. Works perfect.

even if its not just too tight but has actually slipped beyond the thread? it spins freely in both directions.

The outer ring is suppose to move, try the mount that is thread into the lens.

lol yeah i figured it out, im new to this if ya couldnt tell, the rubber band trick worked though
