general for me planes
landscape & nature for me.. well landscape and nature
people & animals for me animal shots. I hate people photos, probably cos I'm ugly

I think wild otters should go under landscape & nature, and zoo otters under people & animals

wild animals in their natural surroundings I would put in the nature thread.

pets would go in the people thread

portraits of pets would go in the portrait thread

do backpackers belong in the landscape or the people thread?

what about self portraits of otters? do they belong in the self portrait thread or the nature thread?
