What's new

here is my try at duplicating what portrait professional does.

The original image isn't very good. It is pretty hard to start with a not so great image and turn it into a professional looking image with some editing. Maybe get him away from the background so you can blur it a little bit?

The color tone seems off. Perhaps it's the flash or the white balance.

im not trying to make it look as though it were a professional photo. im trying to achive the same effect on his skin and what the software portrait professional does.

I usually don't reshape faces, but I did this in portrait professional. Just used a little of everything really quick. Babies have pretty much perfect skin so smoothing doesn't do much. I also didn't do any other PP. Just a quick run through portrait professional to show some of what it does.

Its not needed here. It does well on older people especially where acne has or is an issue, scars. wrinkles etc and does well there. This picture needs help in other areas. BTW I'm assuming you guys own this program because I couldnt get to save in trial version.

wow thats amazing.nice work. how much is light room 3 and will it work with cs3?

Lightroom is its own program :)

Well, I probably wouldn't care for reshaping on my sons face either haha. Just showing you what portrait prof. does. There is skin smoothing and what not in there too, it's just not noticeable because it's a baby.
