On the dock he is called Larry...I have no clue why but this bird knows when the fleet is coming in and dutifully awaits a good meal. he poses nicely, too!

Nice shot, but it is a little dark on my calibrated monitor. I would also watch the crop as it seems a little close, but that may just be me. I am not a fan of really closely cropped images. I like to see a bit of space arouond the bird as it gives it room to "breath" so to speak. MY 0.02¢ FWIW.

Thanks, Westy. My monitor is also calibrated though I expect this shot is a touch on the darker side via the processing I knew at the time. It is a bit more cropped and blown up than I normally shoot for but very cramped quarters. I am going to reshoot later this week with my new 70-200 2.8 and get better detail. This was shot with my 18-105 kit lens.
