Looks like we are expecting!

We have a pair of geese that return every year to nest by the pond, once Momma is set in the nest Dad stands guard every day. Yesterday I walked down to say hi and he gave me the stink eye as he slowly swam off to the other side of the pond lol

I'm looking forward to another year getting them acclimated to me being a frequent visitor and no threat and hope to catch the babies when they make the trip from pond to river!

This is one of the first shots I took when I got there, half of the pond reflects these beautiful green cedars and the other half is reeds and a lot of browns and tans that give a really jittery background and reflection on the water this time of year. He heads to this end because he is trying to distract me away from her, she is on the nest at the other end, I leave her alone as much as I can.

Another fan of that water colouring, shows off the Canada goose really well. Nice lighting as well, not too harsh which helps with the details in this, well done.
