What do you think about the processing?

I like the work you've done on the skin. Contrast looks better and dropping the highlights has improved detail on the dress. Looks like you've removed some of the green reflection in the water too. Overall looks like you chose some nice subtle improvements.

Thank you!

I was playing around with some of the stuff Dan and I had talked about.

It makes achieving what I want to accomplish a little easier, haha.

I like where you're going, although I would tone down the ammount of blue/purple in the blacks, and also perhaps make some adjustments to the green and yellow channels. I'm never really a fan of that lime green tone.

Cool. I'll play with it some more.

I'm admittedly a sucker for blues in shadows

When you say lime green... exactly what portion of the photo are you referring to? I don't see lime green, but maybe I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to.

Also, did you use a curves adjustment layer as well?

I did. I actually didn't hit it *as hard* as I usually do in my editing, but I did use it.

next you should work on your cropping skillz!

I'm new, here, and am new to digital....back in the 70's - 80's, we had to make corrections in the darkroom.....having said that, I love the skin tone you have achieved....in fact, I really like the way everything was warmed up......nice work.....

I dunno, something like this:

had to then clone out some of the reflection because it became distracting.

As it were, I found the foreground tree leaves, and the tree on the top right unnecessarily distracting.
