hey from an aussie

hello, my name is casey and im from victoria australia. I just got my first dSLR a few days ago so im still getting used to it but loving taking photos. i like to take photos of everything really but i really like taking photos of people. i brought a 5 in 1 reflecter coz i read it is good for photos of people but dont have a clue how to use it like where to put it what colour to use when ect. today i went to healsville sanctuary so i took a lot of wildlife photos....most of them turned out too dark which sucks but i got a few ok ones of a pelican and also a kangaroo.
well i hope to learn alot here...
