Hey is that a Lemur on my shoulder?

Had a chance to visit a nature park here in Okinawa Japan.

All shots taken with the Canon 1D and the 70-200mm f2.8 IS.

I can't believe these guys would come up and sit on your shoulder.

Lemurs!!


I saw a lemur once at a zoo and it was just all over the place. It was crawling all over the zookeeper talking.

Fun series! It must have been exciting to have them come right up to you and eat out of your hand. Great expression in that first one (and on the kids' faces as well), and nice colours in all of them.

Lovely family you are.
I look at all of you a lot more than at the lemurs, though I do admit that lemurs are at least as cute as otters or penguins are. At least as cute....!

Thanks for the comments. It was fun to see the kids interact with the animals. Wish I would have taken more shots. Oh will, I guess I will have to go back.
