Hello everyone. My name is Allison and I am new to the forum. I've been interested in photography for a long time, but I just recently made the purchase of my first digital SLR camera, a Canon 400D. I am still learning to manipulate all of the settings and gathering some other needed materials. Perhaps I will have some photos to post in the next few weeks.

I live and work in Baltimore, MD. I'm a veterinary technician, so I anticipate many of my pictures will be of animals. I am also a musician who loves the out-of-doors so I will likely be taking many shots outdoor.

I'm happy to be part of this community. I have a lot to learn, and I am willing to take any advice or critiques you all may have. Thanks!
