Two weeks ago, my wife and I became a member of the oldest ZOO in the Netherlands.
Artis ZOO, officially the Royal Zoological Society Natura Artis Magistra ("nature is the teacher of art"), was founded in 1838 and is located in the heart of Amsterdam.
I'm absolutely not an animal/nature photographer, but I am fascinated by nature...who knows, this will be a new challenge for me in the future.
These cute vari's can move freely in Artis, but it's not the intention to touch these primates, because they have very, very sharp teeth.
