Hi, i recently went to an estate sale and purchase vintage lense thingy. The name and numbers on it is fujinon M1557846-1 1.17D Made in Japan.

To be honest i have no idea what it is for. My guess is some type of proffesional projecter or movie camera. It did come from hollywood. The lense itself is around 6" wide and the whole holder is 7x7" It is VERY heavy. Probably 10 lbs. There is a slot on top too where i believe flim holders go into. There was also film holders and a graphic film pack adapter there too but didnt get it. Can someone Pleeeeeeeeeaaaaassse tell me what this is and how much its worth. Thanks!!!

No idea what the first item is; if I had to guess I would say a lens element from something like a process camera. The film holders at the bottom are just regular 4x5 sheet film holders from a view camera.

The first thing looks like it goes onto either a heavy duty video camera, or a big ass lens. I'm fairly certain though that it's for using filters, because I actually saw something very similar to this yesterday in a co-worker's camera bag that he brought in for me to check out, which belonged to his father. He had something like that, but smaller of course, with a tone of glass plates all different colors. Maybe it's for changing temperatures back in the ole' days?

Lens board -type thing. (Which accepts drop-in filters?)
