Hi there from south MS

As the title says, I'm from southern Mississippi. I've been an iPhone "photographer" for quite some time, but I've just recent acquired a Nikon D3300 and a few cheap DX lenses. I guess I'm working toward being a shutterbug now.

I'm a nerd, so the tech side comes very easy to me. I've gotten to the point where I change between shutter, aperature priority, and manual. My biggest shortcomings are experience, obviously, and probably imagination--framing shots, picking subjects, etc... I've been using photoshop in some fashion or another since the original CS version.

A couple of pics are attached. Panoramic Sunset shots are my favorite.
