Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Im a defect from another forum that I feel has now run it's course for me and its time to move on. Have looked at the quality of images here and how far spread globally you all are and I like what I see.

Im a 49 year old female from England. I have a Canon 60D with a few lenses and accessories and still fairly new to photography.

I haven't found my forte yet, but love abstrct stuff, B&W and macro.

I'm keen to learn, can take critique well and learn from it and am starting to be able to give a little critique myself now. If anyone would like to take me under their wing and show me/tell me the ropes, general rules you all adhere too, do's, dont's etc, would appreciate it.

Current project is for my college course, entitled "Ordinary and/or Extraordinary" which I haven't even really started but would like advice, help, suggestions etc from you guys. I basically have to take photo's of ordinary things but display them in an extraordinary way.

That's enough from me, I talk for England. Look forward to getting to know you and will post in gallery once I suss how!

Nice introduction. Welcome to the forum.

Funny you would mention this. I was looking again at the March 2011 issues of Rangefinder magazine today. It was their B&W issue. There is an interesting interview with William Castellana. His website is William Castellana Photography

.......but his gallery is http://williamcastellana.net/

Have a look at the Still Life / B&W galleries.

Thanks for the welcome, the tips and the links. Much appreciated..Not to learn how to start putting my pics in the gallery......
