I love the subtle variations in lightness and color in the high-key image. The low-key doesn't do it for me, I think because there are still highlights, so it isn't completely low-key in the sense of having only tonal values in the bottom half of the range.

Thanks! I appreciate your feedback on both of these. I agree the 2nd one is not 100% low key but I really like the color and softness of it. I have a few of the black background without the low key processing, I'll post them later.
