High desert

Cruising across the New Mexico desert and I couldn't help myself but to stop and take a picture of this scene .

It should be. Rainbows are one of natures few true displays of saturated colour where the light is split into the single wavelengths. But you've kind of hidden it in the contrast and over-saturation of the background. The blue in the clouds and the yellow in the foreground are all far too far forward.
Try a gentler touch, contrast the colour against a more neutral ground:

I can see what your saying I went a bit overboard.
