High speed photography

Hi.

I'm trying to find some information about acoustic/sound flash trigger for high speed photography using SB-800. The only thing I found was a sound trigger for disposable camera flash.
Do you know of any kit than will work with sb-800?

At college I used a trigger the tutor had made himself using a builders laser level, as the beam was broken by a falling object it triggered the flash, which was a metz c60. This was a very effective way of doing hi-speed shots, the tutor assured us he was no technical genius and put this together with items sourced from a radio shack type outlet so I would think a similar type sound trigger could be home made pretty easily too. H
