these images are my second try at highspeed photography. I want to know if you guys have any pointers on flash positioning so that i do not get that massive reflection next time.

i do not want c&c on the aesthetic appeal or anything like that, but rather help on how to improve my setup in the future. These shots were not taken to be made in to prints, or really be that interesting; they are just tests of my rig so i can spot problems.

also i am aware that the focus is a little off

2. in this shot the bb is .7 inches farther from the barrel than in the first

I'd just put the flash a little more to the right, so it would gently, light the sides, and light up the shattering point.
