Hindu Rituals

It's been a long time since I last posted. I am still trying to improve my storytelling/travel/documentary photography skills.

I took this on a recent trip to Sri Lanka. These were taken in Sri Kailawasanathan Temple while a ritual was being held inside. From my limited knowledge of Hinduism, I think it is "aarti" that is being practised here (Do correct me if I am wrong).

The technical problems really hurt these pictures.

I imagine that the Leica would shoot at 1/125 and iso 2500 and f 4 to get reasonable dof.

The top picture looks like the best focus is on the candlesticks
On the bottom, perhaps the further brass shutter.
