How did I do here? What can be done better? Single flash, camera left. Also, which one do you like more?

The first one is lovely. You can clearly see what made the splash, and the bubble shape couldn't be better. The second one is interesting, but just doesn't compare. I'll have to let someone else comment on lighting though.
