Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
OK, so I know it's a bit of a cheesy, cliche post - but hopefully someone you know might see this and pick you up some gear (maybe even that Hassie.. if that happens just break me off a piece )

Let me know what you think, or post a comment with what YOU want for christmas!

10 Great Holiday or Christmas Gift Ideas for Photographers

Thanks!

I got my photography Christmas present a couple weeks ago with the D700, Nikkor 24-70 and accessories, but my girlfriend got me a Hong Kong EL4a battery, charger and integrated holder for $50... an extra battery that makes your camera go FPS is always cool!

Other good ideas around $50 are:
- a 6-point star filter
- a neoprene neck strap
- Understanding Exposure by Bryon Peterson
- PhotoshopCafe's Perfect Exposure
- PhotoshopCafe's Perfect Composition
- Quality battery charger and good 2700mah AA batteries
- lightstand and umbrella
- Giotto Rocket blaster cleaner
- a lens pencil
- quality microfiber cloths

... and the list goes on. :)

I think filters would be a nice idea too. They're not something I'm very happy about spending money on, yet they are usually not overly expensive.

Yeah, My girlfreind asked me what I wanted for christmas and I had a hard time thinking of something I wanted that was in a reasonable price range!

I'm thinking a can of paint though, I have some rooms that need repainting.

oooOOOoo... I'd love to get an Holga or a Seagull TLR.

BH gift certificate is also nice to give me a reason to spend the day in NYC.

lol..better yet, you buy the cans of paint and have her repaint the rooms :)

Some cheaper ideas you can include reverse rings or the like. Graduated ND filter setup.

The TPF strap is a sweet item for less than $25. The is a link somewhere in the first two or three forums. I really like mine.

M42 adapter - $15
-or-
M42 adapter with AF confirmation- $45

some old Pentax lenses(to use with the adapter above)

Gadget infinity, Cactus flash triggers- $32

That's a pretty good list.

I can't use the software. So can I have a nice assortment of 120 and 35mm films instead? :)
