Our gunning partner Chuck watches as 10 month old gun dog trainee MAC works the cover. MAC’S hurried pace has slowed as did the ringing of his dog bell, he gazes intensely ahead as his senses of smell, hearing, and vision work in concert to make flush of the bird that he instinctively knows lays just ahead. Such are the moments that both bird hunters and their dogs live for.
