Hot Air Ballons Lighting Up

heh, usually stay away from taking pics at events as I hate clutter in my shots and cluttered backgrounds. Think I got the shot I was after though,a good flame shot and some light splashing the people in the basket. Anyway, let me know what you think, or if you have any tips for dealing with busy backgrounds without resorting to the clone brush.

No tips for you here, unfortunately, although I'd say doing what you did: darkening the background works quite well (and that's why 3 is my favourite, it seems the least cluttered).
