I just watched the last 2 episodes of season 4... maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan did that suck. omfg I think I'm going to be scarred for life.

I don't understand why anyone watches that show. Do you sit there for the whole hour wishing the guy gets hit by a truck?

Who? House? Nah. He's a very entertaining jerk. If he got hit by a truck I wouldn't be able to watch his horrible antics. :)

I actually watch it for a variety of reasons...
  • It's therapeutic to watch someone being a jerk to people when one has to work very hard all day to NOT be a jerk to people.
  • It's diagnostics, which is fun for me since I do a lot of diagnostics in my career and because who doesn't love a good detective show? :)
  • Hugh Laurie is a great actor.
  • It's amazing to watch Hugh Laurie not be a slapstick loon as he was back in the days of shows like Black Adder.
I also very stupidly watched 2 seasons of house while sitting in a Hospital after basically just barely escaping death about a year ago. (Tip: Don't watch House when you're in a Hospital... bad idea) It was a fairly lonely and extremely unpleasant time for me, and a fair bit surreal too since I was on some wicked drugs, hadn't had food or drink in days, and hadn't gotten more than 2 hours of sleep per night for 5-6 days... for some odd reason the opening credits give me this sort of weird combination of dread and nostalgia that I find pretty fascinating. :)

To each their own I guess. I don't understand it.

I love house, this new season is good so far!

I usually wait till the season plays out and then download them all and watch them in a week or so. So, now I get to sit patiently and wait... gotta find something else to download. :)

Never heard of this. I get to watch TV every other day from October through hopefully June again. It's hockey season. Other than that, wifey has just about every daytime talk show and soap opera recorded on the DVR that she watches nightly.

I don't like TV. I prefer movies. But even them, I record then never watch. I probably have around 10 movies recorded that I haven't watched yet from the summer when we were recieving free movie packages.

Oh my goodness House is flipping amazing. At the end of last school year, I literally sat down for a week and watched three seasons. Most mind numbing thing I have ever doen and enjoyed every minute of it. I am going to purchase season 4, watch all of those and then figure out how I am going to watch season 5 later. :)

I dunno how he could possibly pop those vicoden though... that stuff is bad bad bad. I was on it for a month after a hospital visit and it did horrific things to me. Granted, maybe that's just me. :)

I like the show but it reinforces my negative attitude to hospitals. I remember being in one when the first specialist came in to see me and said I had an 80% chance of survival. The next day a different specialist came in and said I had a 60% chance of survival, if I was lucky. Then a third said in the hall that I only had a "average" chace of survival.

I was beginning to wonder whether either had a clue, in which case, what was I doing under their "care".

Hospitals suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. I've never had a more miserable experience in my life than staying at a hospital for ~12 days. Ugh.

i hate hospitals, but i love that show.
the dry humor is awesome.
