If you want a critique type of feed back on your photos...here are some tips.

Firstly, display your photos directly in the forum...(I don't know if Yahoo allows that, try Photobucket). A lot of people won't bother to examine the photos if they are only linked to an off-forum site.

Secondly, it's quite difficult to critique more than one photo at a time on a forum like this. If you have different people talking about different images...it gets confusing.

Try posting your photos, one per thread, and put them in the Critique forum rather than the gallery. Make sure to read the guidelines at the top of the forum.

Well, this one cannot be moved since it contains the links to all these five photos, and I think this should not be moved, either.
But for future serious, sometimes even brutal critique, you might consider that forum, then outlining very clearly what it is you want critiqued.
For some general comments (some even including some critique, like if I write them ;)), this is the right forum.

yea they were just general "how they look " just teh top one is bugging me . butill just move that one to the other section
thanks

I think your off to a great start. You seem to have an eye for a subject, and that is a start. The pic of your daughter is really nice.
Keep shooting, and posting. That is the best way to pic up on more ideas and suggestions.
Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff.

I understand why the top one bugs you, for that has "amateur" written all across it. I think you can take my saying so since you seem to be feeling the very same about it. But none of us was born a ready-made photographer, we have all come from somewhere, and as long as we see that "amateur" is not what we want (i.e. we see a difference in the first place), and are then open to look and learn, we can at least come closer to our goals.

Whether we ever reach them...... !?!?? But don't we all try? ;)

yup . i agree , ive only had the camera for a week or to and its my first manual capable camera , im pretty happy with some of the other ones , but yea "amateur " is an understament lol . thats the only problem ive been having with the camera (or i should say me/settings) my daughter's b/day all turned out way to bright and over done due to incorest settings and that dam flash
