How are these pics retouched

So I have allways wondered, how are these pics retouched.
They are not so contrasty and are very sharp

I think the first three and the fifth need a boost in saturation. It's almost like that's your "style" but then the fourth is different in that sense.

I like the first one.

Only my 2 cents worth.

hm If I had to achieve that look I would mess around in adobe with:

-Color Balance (midtones,shadows, and highlights)
-Color Saturation
^---that alone may achieve the look, if not id move into:
-Curves
-Levels

All of it takes a feel to grasp, I've been using photoshop for 5 years and there's still things I have to look up.

Also, in most pics it looks like they are using a circular polarizer.

I would guess the sharpening was done with High Pass filter.

I call hdr on the first 2.

Looks like a minor amount of HDR processsing... you can look it up.

Looks nothing like HDR to me. Perhaps some searching on what HDR actually is would be needed here....

I think it does look like hdr that was then desaturated, which is way cool. everyone always uses hdr to get stupidly unrealistic oversaturation. but the amount of color contrast is pretty wide, but then it's all mellow.
