Joined Sep 14, 2016 Messages 923 Reaction score 289 Location Austria/Europe Can others edit my Photos Photos NOT OK to edit Sep 6, 2017 #2 There are several ways to do that, here is one: use the marquee tool (M-key - if the ellipse is not shown click LONGER on the button to get a selection of various options) draw a circle and hold the shift key to get a circle rather than an ellipse (additionally click the Alt-key to draw it from the center outwards) move the circle around to place it exactly where you want it to be (if you want to resize it, choose select - transform selection) optional step: if you don´t want the edge to be sharp, choose: select - modify - feather now you have to inverse the selection: select - inverse finally use the paint bucket tool and paint the outer part of the selection white If you are used to working with layer masks, there is a better one. But this one is probably the easiest to understand for beginners.
