I'd run my cross process macro in photoshop and then make a gradient layer of magenta and overlay it. Looks pretty straight forward to me.

Looks to me like the editor put a blue/pink gradient over the image and set it to 'screen' on the layers pallet. If you're familiar with Photoshop then you should understand what i just said haha, other than that, I'm sorry i cant help you.
