Like most forums, you can't delete it. Just simply stop posting or pi$$ of a moderator enough to get banned.

Your post in the other thread you implied you'd photographed something paranormal, and you posted the picture predicated on the fact it had not been digitally altered in any way:

theres a haunted bridge near me that me and some friends went to a couple times to see if we can get any ghost picture sand stuff, out of all the pics i took, this is the freakiest, other pictures had what appeared to look like orbs, but this wierd fog came out in this one picture only, it was clear, dry night, no rain, no fog, no clouds in the sky, this is NOT photoshopped in anyway

Your credibility is under fire When it's later discovered that you in fact did photoshop the image from your image title:

You argued your side? You came on and replied to your own THREE YEAR OLD "Look, It's a Ghost" photo thread, to dredge it up again; THEN when you were called on the hoax, you said you'd try to find the original--and your very next move is asking how to delete your profile?? Doesn't seem like much of an effort to "argue your side" to me. The whole thing seems WAY odder than the goofy fog photo.

Go to your Settings. Delete your avatar, your signature, erase your PMs, delete any links to your web site. Cancel any Subscriptions you may have. Uncheck any email notifications you may have selected. Turn off Private Messaging. Deselect all three Visible Post Elements.

Politely ask the Forum Admin to change your username to something nonsensical so no one will know it was you. Don't ask the mods... they don't have the admin rights to do this... only Admin can.

Finally, delete your email addy.

Log off, and don't let the door hit you in the arse on your way out.

And I've never heard of an internet forum that you could delete your profile.

Most forums (not all, but most) do not have the option to delete a profile entirely. It is usually because there are posts linked to that profile and in some cases (again, not all) it would require someone to go through and delete them manually or the database would have a lot of "Orphan" posts.

Your best bet is to PM an administrator (not a moderator, but an administrator) and see if they will do it for you.

The only profiles we delete are spambots - we don't delete long term members as removing of large amounts of content messes up teh forum structure.

If you no longer wish to be a member simply remove your contact details from your profile, change your email address listed there to something utterly random (this will prevent you getting any emails at all from the forum - though it also means you'll never be able to restore your account if you wanted to at a later date and forgot your password).

After that just remove any browser links you have here and then don't continue to visit anymore.
