How good is the 20d?

Is this camera better than the XT? More durable? I want something a little heavier and strong. Will the 20d do it?

It's a tough body, for sure. Though my favourite characteristic of the 20d the the great low light ability. ISO1600 is respectably clean. As for the 30D versus the 20D, I don't think there's too much of a difference between those two, is there? I think the 30D introduced spot metering, a bigger buffer and a bigger screen. Is there anything else? Anyway, if you can find it for not much more than the 20D, then sure, pick it up!

I just got a 30D in the mail on Friday. I chose it over the 20D because I really wanted a larger screen, and I figured the few extra features would be worth the extra cash. I use the spot metering mode a lot more than I though I would.

I also upgraded from an XT, and am very happy with the decision. It's a much more user-friendly camera, and feels much better in the hand.
