Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Jan Kriwol Photography

Does he do this???? It looks like a painting almost... is it some kind of weird HDR? He has a lot of other stuff like it if you need more examples..

There was another thread about this but I don't know for sure if the OP is talking about the same thing I am.

Thanks!

I think i figured it out!

Does he perhaps bracket exposures.. as well as focal lengths? By this I mean he shoots his 3 different exposures, but at 3 different focal points - in order to achieve that extremely deep DoF he seems to have?

The shot of the 3 people in the snowsled? Chances are its a composite of a series of photos put together in editing with a lot of work (though looking at the hand holding the bottle - is that wrist disconnected from the arm?). Nosing around it seems he does it fairly often, using several photos (considering the displays most likely not taken at the same place, but artificial scenes comprised of the selected photos) to create a collage

That website drives me NUTS!

It looks to me like maybe painting, HDR, and CGI. Look at the snow bottle pic, snow if fake, tracks are fake, background looks fake, sun over the mountain looks fake. The background pretty much looks like something from an animated movie.

In this one Jan Kriwol Photography the chair is floating, and looks completely CGI to me. The pose for both of the guys look like they were sitting on bar stools, and the girl on a taller one. Plus there's a girl watching 2 dudes playing video games, so we know that's fake.

Unless you have 90 hours to drop onto 1 photo for pleasure, I would just let this one go lol

oh, and wtf is this? Smeagle after the sex change? Thats just creepy Jan Kriwol Photography

he may use DOF bracketing along with other things

lol@the smeagle reference....precious!

How does he do that? Easy he makes a stupidly large and slow flash animated website and then runs it from an 28.8k modem. Or at least that's what his website feels like on my 25mbps connection.

Shame really I wouldn't mind looking at the rest of his pictures, but I don't have the time to wait for it to load.

Looking is hard as GArbz mentions.

SOftware is a magical thing especially in the hands of a serious professional person. Some look like Lucis Art rendering, the others layers, layers layers.
