how to display raw file thumbnail in windows explorer?

right now the raw files are not displayed in windows explorer as shown in the picture, is there a way for me to get thumbnail preview for them? I have lightroom 3.4 installed.

I'm curious as to if anyone has been able to make this work with a camera that is not listed in their supported device area. I have a Nikon D3100 which is not on the list and this codec pack doesn't work. I noticed that the D7000 is not on the list either.

I took the compact flash out, and put it in the reader.
