How to make this pop?

'Pop' is usually about lighting and separation from a background.

Crop it. Get rid of the unproductive and distracting parts of the image. Boost the mid-tone contrast. Separate the flower from it's immediate surrounds by lighting and color. If you look at a color wheel, yellow is complimentary to blue, but not so complimentary to green.
