howdy from Texas

my wife and I are taking more of an interest in taking pics these days since we are now retired. I did a search for camera forums and found ya'll. looks to be a great forum with a wealth of knowledge and some real good peoples! looking forward to it.

What part of Texas? I'm in the really dry and really flat part in west Texas. I live 30 miles south of Lubbock.

What part of Texas? I'm in the really dry and really flat part in west Texas. I live 30 miles south of Lubbock.

Allen . about 25 miles north of Dallas.

Welcome. I'm about 50 miles up from Houston on 59/69. You will likely get hotter temps than us but we will get 80+ humidity!

I am familiar with the humidity. I'm originally from central Texas and used to spend a lot of time in the greater Houston area. We used to take trips to the Woodlands once a year to play golf at the TPC course there.
