Tried out a few new things in the gym

D7200 with the 70-200/4.
Shot it at ISO 6400, f/4, 1/400 sec.
Used it for shots from the top of the bleachers, primarily to get the front right spiker, on the far side of the court from me. This was too long for the 50/1.8. Great shots over the net.
Tried it on the floor, behind the end line, to the net. 70mm was too long for net shots.
A Nikon 24-120 or Tamron 35-150 would have been a better lens.
Sometimes it would focus through the net, sometimes it would focus ON the net.

My standard lenses were 35/1.8 and 50/1.8.
Shot it at ISO 3200, f/2, 1/800 sec.
Switching between the primes and the zoom was problematic, as the zoom was 2 stops slower, so the exposure had to be changed every time I switched to/from the zoom.
Olympus EM1-mk2 + 12-100/4
Shot it at ISO 6400, f/4, 1/400 sec.
The mk2 fixed the EVF problems that I had with the mk1. :applouse:
The Olympus did not have as much problem as the Nikon in shooting (focusing) through the net. :)
The zoom ring was not as easy/fast to use as the Nikon 70-200. :(
The e-shutter seemed to have worked well.
Using two cameras on cross-shoulder straps was difficult, as the strap of the lower camera was restricted by the strap of the upper camera.

Hope to see your photos soon
